Who we are

Hi-VizBiz is a trading style of TGF Digital (“we”, “us”). We provide marketing services to trade businesses across the UK.
You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@hi-vizbiz.co.uk, and we’ll reply within one working day.
Two different roles
This matters, so we’ll be plain about it.
When you enquire with us, we are the controller. We decide what to do with your name, email and phone number, and this policy explains it.
When we run marketing for a client, we are usually a processor. If you filled in a form on a tradesperson’s website that we built, your details belong to that business — they decide what happens to them, and you should contact them directly. We only hold that data to provide the service, under a written agreement with them.
What we collect
If you enquire or request a free website review: your name, email address, phone number, postcode, business name, trade and website address.
If you become a client: the above plus billing details (handled by Stripe — we never see your card number), the domains and accounts we manage for you, and records of work done.
When you visit this website: if you consent to analytics, we collect standard measurement data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and how you arrived. If you decline, we don’t.
If you use the free website review tool: the website address you enter, and the technical results of scanning it. That scan reads only publicly available pages.
Why we use it

We don’t sell your data. We don’t buy lists.
Who we share it with
Only the suppliers we need to run the business:
- Google — analytics, Search Console, advertising
- Bunny.net — hosting and content delivery
- Stripe — payments
- Our own platforms — ContentMate and Gaffer, which are operated by TGF Digital
- Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, where necessary
If we introduce you to a partner (for example an accountant), we’ll ask you first and tell you who.
We may disclose data where the law requires it.
Where it’s held
Primarily in the UK and EEA. Some suppliers, including Google and Stripe, process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by the UK’s approved safeguards — usually the International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t become clients: 24 months, then deleted
- Client records: for the life of the contract and 6 years afterwards, to meet accounting and limitation requirements
- Analytics: up to 14 months
- Free review results: 12 months
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object to us using it. You can withdraw consent at any time, and you can ask for your data in a portable format.
Email hello@hi-vizbiz.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. Material changes will be notified to clients directly.
